Vacuum Station – C&U

This system is designed to deliver medical vacuum stably to the hospital. Dual vacuum pump automatically runs and stops alternately and parallelly. Either automatic or manual operation can be selected in each case.

System composed of:

– Oil-rotary vacuum pump: Vacuum is used to clear away such bodily fluid as blood and mucus through centralized medical vacuum line in the hospital. This single stage, direct driven, air-cooled, oil-sealed rotary vane pump, which does not require water supply, can provide with high degree of vacuum. Duplex pump sets with the control panel, automatic alternate and parallel runs are available. There are 6 motor sizes from 1.0/1.2kw to 11/15kw, which are selected depending on the system

capacity designed.

– Vacuum tank: This is vertical vacuum tank for keeping the degree of medical vacuum between -55kPa and -80kPa, that is furnished to the terminal outlets through the medical vacuum pipeline in the hospital. 300L, 500L 1000L and 1500L tanks are available.

– Control panel: The purpose of the control panel is to operate vacuum pumps for automatic

alternate run at a normal consumption and automatic parallel run at a peak demand. One pump runs as a duty and the other pump becoming a standby in case of normal operation. In case of high demand of vacuum, the standby pump runs automatically by a pressure switch. The duty pump runs at -55kPa and stops at -80kPa. The standby pump runs at -50kPa and stops at -80kPa.

– Vacuum filter: Vacuum filters (Bacterial filter, fluid separation, water trapare) designed for critical applications involving the fluid separation in the pipeline, removal of bacteria and other contamination from suction side of vacuum pumps, preventing infection of the pump, tank and atmosphere in the hospital., to be installed in the plant room immediately prior to the vacuum tank.

– Pressure switch unit: The “Pressure switch unit” is composed of a pressure sensor which is used for controlling the operation of pumps, and a pressure switch for back up.
